Dockside Grab
Unloader
Applied Logic Systems programmed and commissioned
the PLC and SCADA system for a 1600 Te/Hour dockside
grab unloader. The control system was based on a
Klockner Moeller PS416 PLC, Baldor ‘NextMove BX’
motion controller and two PC based operator panels
running the Interact SCADA package. The PLC and
SCADA system communicated over Modbus. The PLC
programming language was fully compliant with the
IEC1131 standard. The project included a period of
three months in Argentina, commissioning the
unloader. |
